Oh my, how the time flies when you're having fun!
I just looked at my Groomwise Blog and realized that my last post was dated in late November 2009. After the Hershey show, it seemed like I hit (or landed on) the ground running again. The holiday season proved to be phenominal one and flew by at a incredible pace with a full schedule of clients coupled with family and veterinary concerns. With all of the season's ups and downs, the overall physical response for me was total exhaustion. Thankfully at season's end, I received a short rest and most concerns that I had were resolved.
One of my most memorable "ups" during the holiday season was my wonderful (and very generous) clients who gifted me well with their Christmas cash bonus'. Instead of me buying something frivolous for myself, I decided to use the cash for some overdo improvements/upgrades for my van that I kept putting off because I was too busy for the "down time." Shame on me, but low and behold, they are now getting done and for good reason too - I'll be participating at the 2010 Groom & Kennel Show in Pasadena, California for the Mobile Grooming Round Up. With Sally's kind and gracious permission, I will not only be displaying my grooming van, but I will also be doing a book signing at my van as well for the book 2 Lion-Hearted Groomers ... Leigh & Eileen's Journey.
It would be my sincere pleasure if you could join me Sunday, February 14th at the Round-Up between 12:00 P. M. to 2:00 P. M. I would dearly love to meet you personally, take pictures and show off my van and the book. I'll have plenty of copies on hand for sale at $25.00 each which will include bookmarks, review information and a signed copy of each book sold.
In the event of inclement weather, the book signing will be moved to a booth inside the trade show.
Hope you can make it!
Donna
