  • Ellen Ehrlich is the author of Go Mobile And Succeed, 49 Essays On Pet Grooming and the creator of Go Mobile And Succeed – The Seminar DVD. She has appeared on Animal Planet as a guest mobile groomer, writes a popular blog on PetGroomer.com called Go Mobile And Succeed and is a Certified Feline Master Groomer. Ellen is also certified in CPR and Canine/Feline First Aid through Pet Tech. She is a freelance writer, the winner of the essay contest Driven To Groom, an industry speaker, and was on the Honor Roll for a Cardinal Crystal Award for Journalist of the Year. Ellen has been nominated for two Barkleigh Awards – Up And Coming Speaker and Blogger Of The Year. She has been nominated twice for a Crystal Award for Mobile Groomer Of The Year. Ellen created and moderates the facebook page Go Mobile And Groom. She is a member of Pawsitive Instructional Training, giving online webinars live and on demand. Ellen is also a consultant for Hanvey Engineering. Ellen’s endless amount of passion and enthusiasm motivates her to explore and take advantage of new opportunities in the grooming industry.

Go Mobile And Succeed Goes To Kuwait

I'm so proud! Jeff, the cutest soldier ever, ordered my book and it went all the way to Kuwait! He was nice enough to send me a picture so I wanted to post it and share it with all of you. He plans on going to grooming school and going mobile in the future. Who would of thought!

First Book Signing – Hershey Groom Expo

I love Groom Expo! Even though this is the fifth time I have attended in five years, I still get the same warm, fuzzy feeling when I walk into the Hershey Lodge. I look forward to this show all year. It’s definitely one of my favorites! So many vendors, so many seminars, so many grooming competitions to watch. It’s difficult to know what to do first! There is also the allure of the Hershey Spa and Hershey, Pennsylvania where sightseeing beckons.

This was a special weekend for me. I was invited by the Groomers Mall to spend the weekend at their booth, signing books for “Go Mobile And Succeed.” What a fabulous experience! I love talking to groomers, seeing old friends and making new ones. I met many of my internet grooming buddies and got to spread the word about my book. I even got to meet and spend time with Donna Smith, author of the book “2 Lion-Hearted Groomers” and a fellow blogger at petgroomer.com.

When it comes to our industry I am a bottomless pit of enthusiasm! Even though I worked extremely hard all weekend, a grooming show is still my idea of a vacation. Yes, I’m crazy!
