No-Sew Curtain For Your Grooming Van Or Trailer
Grooming becomes difficult when Fluffy looks out the window and sees his Mom or Dad in the yard and starts to wag and wiggle. How about when Rover spots a kitty or a squirrel and goes bonkers just when you are about to snip a hair or two around their face? Glare and heat from the sun coming in the windows can also create a difficult problem especially in the summer. For these reasons and for my own privacy I came up with a no-sew curtain anybody can make. When not in use I keep them folded up on my front seat. They have come in handy many, many times.
You don’t need a sewing machine or even a needle and thread. All you need is an iron, fabric, and three inexpensive products. Here are some very simple directions and tips.
1. No sew tape (for ironing hems)
2. Grommets (make sure they are big enough to fit the hooks.) Buy the kit.
3. Adhesive hooks
4. Cotton Fabric (not stretchy, not sheer) – When cutting the fabric don’t forget to factor in hems. Add a few inches to top, bottom, and sides for clearance. Buy a little extra to be on the safe side.
5. Put the hooks up first. Then pin the fabric where the grommets will go.
