Yesterday afternoon was one of the most heartwrenching times of my life......I had to say goodbye to my dear freind Prissy. You see, Prissy came into my life at the age of 8. I had been her groomer for the previous six years. Once a month the elderly couple that owned her, would bring her in for me to shave her. I had always wanted a pug, and one day , a call came into the shop.........The receptionist came into the groom room, asking " Hey, anybody want an eight year old pug?"......I jumped at the chance, asking who it was, I realized it was my favorite pug......Prissy........not sure why they would give her up, and quite frankly still not sure why they did....but, she became my Prissy......the first two days I had her, she was unsure of her new environment, she sat in the corner of my bedroom, sad and scared.......with coaxing, love and praise, she came out of her shell, and we both discovered each other.......she became my best freind...seeing me through heartbreak, moving from Tennessee to California and back......she was my confidante, my shoulder to lean on, my smile when I needed one, just the best freind one could ever ask for.......She was sixteen years old, suffering from several ailments including congestive heart failure, blindness, deafness and kidney failure.......she became depressed and although I knew she needed to go to heaven.....it was the hardest decision of my life.....to take her life......It felt all wrong, but, I know it was the right thing to do......so, Prissy I love you, I will always keep you close to my heart.....it is with a devastated heart that I say good bye for now........play well in heaven, Mom :-(

I love to teach others the art of pet styling, and share the information that others have graciously shared with me over the years. I believe in paying it forward.
As a fellow Pug-a-holic, Pug-addict and Pug-Mainiac, I send you my deepest sympathy. I am so glad you and Prissy had each other... and so sorry for the empty space she leaves in your heart and home. Daryl

I'm so sorry for your loss. It truly is the most difficult decision as a mom to our fur-babies to say good-bye. I hope you find comfort in the memories of all your wonderful years together. {{hugs}}

You could definitely see your expertise within the paintings you write. The world hopes for more passionate writers like you who aren't afraid to mention how they believe. Always follow your heart.
