Hi Lorrie! I've been doing grooming house calls for 8 years and absolutely love it. I look forward to learning some new stuff here.

All the best,

how do you even go about starting home grooming? I have been in 2 different shops in the last 5 years and actually just quit today. I have never quit a job before but this place was soooo bad. So, I would love to hear anything you have to say about home grooming! Thanks!

Hello Lorrie, My name is Nelly am also a dog groomer that does dog grooming inside the home. I have been grooming inside my home for two years,I been dog grooming for going on seven years. I have my whole basement set up as it was a dog grooming building. Just trying to network with other groomers, please fill free to write me anytime.

I use to groom inside my home but , the clients would never show up on time to pick up thier pets, most of the time I had them wait, it is great when you can schedule a day for coming to you though and that worked out real well.

I my area I have really great clients who spoil me to death. I Love going to thier homes then shopping in the area where they live too!

Glad to hear from you!

Wow, this is such an amazing business idea :) I have a question that you could perhaps address in a future post: What on earth do you do about the mess?! Do the clients not complain about the inevitable hairballs (and those tumbleweeds that magically appear the next day?) I'd love to hear about this.
