People are always asking why double arms are used or if a full overhead arm (like a Hanvey LIPS System or the clamp on overhead arms that many suppliers carry) would be worth buying. Are they genuinely safer than a regular arm?
So, as promised, I did this quick little video on how and why I use two arms on my table while grooming.
Another tip I forgot while doing this video: if you buy the clamp on type of overhead arm (or really any arm for that matter) using a Groomers Helper loop adjuster means you never have to adjust the arm. The overhead arms is difficult to adjust evenly on each side, and the LIPS is permanently attached to the table, so it can be tricky.
I hope this made the idea of 2 arms easier to understand.
