Summer Live and Webinar Classes

Here is my upcoming summer schedule including class descriptions.

June

June 6 Wednesday 8pm EST Making and Using Pet First Aid Kits. It covers what should go into a pet first aid kit and how to use those items. It differentiates between dog and cat safe products. It also includes a demonstration on how to wrap an ear injury. The cost is $20.

June 20 Wednesday 8pm EST Let's Go Fido. This webinar will help you plan a stress free vacation whether your pets are coming or staying.The cost is $20.

June 24 Sunday 9am Pet Tech PetSaver Program in New Milford, CT. This eight hour  comprehensive, hands-on seminar covers healthy living , priorities and concerns of emergency procedures, restraining and muzzling, primary pet assessment, rescue breathing, CPR, choking, bleeding, shock, and fractures, poisoning, heat and cold injuries, insect and snake bite,seizures, vitals, emergency disaster and pet first aid kits.It includes two handbooks and a certificate suitable for framing. The cost is $150pp. 

 

July

July 8 Sunday 9am Pet Tech PetSaver Program in Gardner, MA. This eight hour  comprehensive, hands-on seminar covers healthy living , priorities and concerns of emergency procedures, restraining and muzzling, primary pet assessment, rescue breathing, CPR, choking, bleeding, shock, and fractures, poisoning, heat and cold injuries, insect and snake bite,seizures, vitals, emergency disaster and pet first aid kits.It includes two handbooks and a certificate suitable for framing. The cost is $150pp. 

July 11 Wednesday 8pm EST Crystals For Groomers is an introductory course explaining how crystals work and the benefit of them and other alternatives in the grooming environment.The cost is $20. 

July 15 Sunday Salon Sanitation and Mobile Groomer Safety at NEPGP SummerFest. Salon Sanitation covers the hows and why of keeping your salon clean and sanitary to prevent cross contamination between yourself, your staff, and your clients. Mobile Groomer Safety covers vehicular, work, animal, and personal safety whether you are in a van, trailer, or are housecall.

August

August 4-6 Saturday through Monday Pet Tech Instructor Training in Danbury, CT. So, you want to teach pet first aid. This three day program will give you the skills and certify you to teach Pet Tech's pet first aid programs.The cost is $1495pp. 

August 15 Wednesday 8pm EST Emergency and Disaster Planning With Your Pets. This comprehensive webinar will teach you to plan effectively for disasters and other emergencies in your community with your pets in mind. From evacuations to home plans to specific disasters. The cost is $39.95. 

August 29 Wednesday 8pm EST Salon Sanitation covers the hows and why of keeping your salon clean and sanitary to prevent cross contamination between yourself, your staff, and your clients. The cost is $49.95.
